Established in 2006, the Department of History was one of the Founding Departments of the Degree college Shahpur. It is the one of largest Department in College with the richest spread of undergraduate courses . Our faculty consists of one teacher and our alumni have made a name for themselves not only in academia, but in Defence, law and public service as well.Over the years, its alumni have gone to become notable and renowned Intellectuals and Academics. Currently Asst. Prof. Harish Kumar is working as faculty of History.
